2nd place in Step Up Loudoun Competition
Future Plans
Hello Everyone! Last Thursday, Krops for Kids competed in the Step Up Loudoun 2022 Top 10 competition and recieved 2nd place. The Step Up Loudoun competition has given us great insight and constructive critism which improved Krops for Kids greatly. One of the judges suggested that we reach out to our school to recieve produce donations from them considering how much produce is wasted in school lunch lines. Starting from this Thursday we will recieve produce donations from our school.
Along with getting produce from out school this Thursday, we will give a presentation about our non-profit to local boyscouts to assist with fundraising and produce pickups/drop offs.
Week 18 donations
Today, we went to an EatLoco Farmers market in Brambelton and recieved 66 pounds of food donations from Tyson Farm and Linda Vista farm. We will implement tax recipts into our donation cycle starting this year.
